Studio and Basics Series
Volumes 7 and 8 represent the reorganization of our volumes into two series. Because both are based on our Song Set system, there are no hard lines between them. The Basics Series is aimed at songwriters and project studio owners looking for an inspirational tool. The Studio Series is aimed at the higher-end writer, producer or engineer who needs top-of-the-line drum loops choices and control. But many of us play a lot of these roles. The main differences:
Basics Series (Vols. 1, 2, 4, 5 & 8)
• Lower price
• Higher number of Song Sets per volume, but fewer loops per Song Set
• Primarily Stereo Edition only (multitrack version not always available)
• Single hits are primarily from Generic Single Hits Collection, but where available, includes specific single hits.
• More of a "mixed bag" approach with a variety of styles and sounds
Studio Series (Vols. 3, 6 & 7)
• Higher Price
• More loops per Song Set, but fewer Song Sets per volume
• Extensive Matching Single Hits & Loops Layers
•More consistent mix across volumes for easier mixing and matching of loops between Song Sets
• Multitrack edition always available
• More of a "library" approach with focussed sounds and styles
