Loop Layers Tutorial

All of our Studio Series volumes feature Loop Layers™ in each Song Set. Loop Layers are isolated kick, snare, rim, hat and ride loops (based on the major grooves in a Song Set) that allow you to create and mix the specific groove loops, breakdowns and sparser elements. Think of them as single-hit loops or quasi multitrack loops. If a Song Set does not have the exact beat you need, then us Loop Layer loops and single hits to create the beat you need. For example, if you need a Chorus.ride or a Verse.rim loop and the Song Set doesn't already have one, you can create one that sounds more natural-sounding than if you were just using single hits. When combined with other loops and fills from the Song Set, Loop Layers™ provide control never before available with stereo loops.
