Endorsee Profile: Mike Schmid

In addition to Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana, Mike Schmid has played with the Jonas Brothers, Sheryl Crow, Kenna, Chantal Kreviazuk, Ed King, Jeffrey Steele, Van Hunt, Aly & AJ and The Corrs. As a writer, his songs have been played on "So You Think You Can Dance," "The Real World," "All My Children," "The Bad Girls Club," "Felicity," "The Black Donnellys" and more.

Mike says Drums On Demand is a must-have in his studio.

"The drum sounds are gorgeous and contemporary, the musicianship is top-notch, and the whole package is so easy to use that you can construct a realistic-sounding, song-sympathetic track within minutes. When I don't have the time or budget for a drummer, DOD is a life-saver," he says.

His self-titled debut album was unleashed upon the world in 2001. In 2006, he released a big fat epic, "The High Cost of Living (A Love Story)" and a intimate little Christmas EP, "Snow Day." His new album, "The House We Built," features a new recording of "Forget You," Broadjam.com's best-selling download of the year for 2007. It was released on August 19, 2008, and quickly became a bestseller and an Editor's Pick on CDBaby.com.
