DOD Makes All The Difference

Marty Walsh“Drums On Demand has changed my life.” A bold statement, but that’s just how guitarist/writer/arranger/producer/studio owner Marty Walsh describes his relationship with DOD.

Walsh's compositions have appeared in films and TV shows ranging from “Entertainment Tonight” to “Everybody Loves Raymond” and his guitar work can be heard on such mega-singles as Donna Summer’s “She Works hard For the Money” and Neil Diamond’s “Heartlight.” He was also a member of the band Supertramp and currently teaches at the Berklee College of Music.

“Every semester at Berklee I also recommend DOD to my students,” he reports. “Great stuff.”

Marty has passed Drums On Demand on to the next generation (his son, Ian also uses DOD) and it is a major component of his studio arsenal. “I have been writing songs and instrumental cues for TV and film for 15 years and to have real drum tracks instead of "midi/computer generated" drums has made all the difference in the world in the sound of my productions. The sound quality is phenomenal and the flexibility of the REX format makes editing a breeze,” Walsh says.

“Drums On Demand are by far the best investment I have made in my studio in quite some time.”
